Once you reach level 120, you will begin to gain AXP (Ability Experience) along with your regular experience and Skill Points. AXP is the first step to unlocking a variety of Soul Abilities that can give your character the extra edge needed to become the best.
AXP is gained just like regular experience, but the rate is slightly different. The higher your character's level is, the quicker the AXP gain rate will be. You can also boost AXP gain by 25% when you activate Blessing Beads, plus Nation War also contributes to your AXP level. Once you have filled your AXP bar, you will gain one AP (ability point). These AP can be used to activate or level up Essence Runes that are dropped by high-level monsters.
To access your Soul Ability menu, press the "U" button. Once here, you can activate a variety of Essence Runes on your character.
